Continuous Bar Chairs
Continuous Bar Chairs are available as either 350mm or 750mm long. They are also known as 350mm Bolster Deck Rails and 750mm Deck Rail Spacers. These spacers are a strong and stable continuous spacer used for formwork applications. Plastic Deck Rail Spacers are designed with sets of vertical legs. The legs have pointed tips on the base for minimal form contact.
Shorter lengths are preferred in Government projects rather than longer continuous spacers.
Plastic deck rails are also used as an alternative to concrete rail spacers – triangle or square.
In addition, a unique clip connection system at each end enables joining to any given length on site. Once connected the clip will not separate, which is important for large projects.
Deck Rails eliminate the need for either clipping bar chairs onto the reinforcement or “chairing up” after the reinforcement has been placed.
Furthermore, an optional clip on base plate (750mm Deck Rail only) is used if increased stability is required.
